This is the second trip down memory lane for Alie and I.
In a 2011 post, I wrote about our custom to decorate our Christmas tree with souvenir ornaments: the ornaments bring back fond memories when we hang them on the tree, again when we take them down in January, and for the rest of the year, they don’t have to be dusted. Some ornaments are labeled. Some are local hand-crafts. When nothing else was available, some were created from key chains. We think all were created in the country where they were purchased.
Last week’s post, part 1, was a sample of ornaments collected on trips around the United States. Today, in part 2, we sample our memories from international trips.
