Merry Christmas, Happy Chanukah, Joyous Kwanzaa, Happy Holidays. Wherever you are and whatever your beliefs, may you, your family and friends find some of the ever-elusive peace on earth and goodwill toward men in the new year.
A year ago I wrote it is our custom to buy Christmas ornaments as souvenirs. They are easy to pack, bring back pleasant memories and don’t require dusting the rest of the year. One post last year featured U.S. ornaments and another featured international ornaments.
Today I would like to share some of this year’s additions. If no ornament is available, sometimes we buy a key chain and turn it into an ornament. In honor of the U.S. Park Service’s 100th anniversary, we picked up 19 pins in parks we visited. But pins don’t hang well on a Christmas tree, so we attached them to ribbons. Rather than bore you with all 19, I have attached a photo of just one ribbon featuring four of the five Utah National parks.
We wish you a wonderful new year filled with pleasant adventures.

And you to you John and your family. It was good to see you in 2016 and with luck it won’t be so long again.

interesting experiment on the voting machines. Looks like it shows the voting machine switched votes in this case. Tried to forward on facebook but none of the forwarded messenger links were sent. Facebook seems to have stopped that. busted?

Interesting way to get a message through, John.
I don’t know what you are talking about, but it is always good to hear you are alive when so many of our brothers are not.
We are settled in Ohio as we don’t have children and that is where my nephews, niece and their families all are. We wanted to move closer before we absolutely had to. Since Covid-19 has slowed everything down anyway, I had my knee replaced December 1. They tell me it is healing faster than most, and I was able to drive myself to therapy yesterday.
Wishing you and yours a merry Christmas and a much better new year.
